Privacy policy

Jenson Storage is a d/b/a of Jenson Properties LLC, 1189 W 1700 N, Logan, Utah 84321. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and our seasonal storage business, how we use it, and who we share it with.

1. Information we collect

When you reserve online, call, or email, we collect:

  • Your name, phone number, and email address.
  • Details about the vehicle, trailer, boat, or other property you want stored, including type and estimated length.
  • Your preferred drop-off appointment.
  • Your signature on the storage agreement.
  • Payment information, which is handled by Stripe and described in Section 3.

At drop-off, in person, we complete an Intake & Condition Report that also records:

  • The VIN, HIN, or serial number of the stored property, along with year, make, model, color, and license or registration details.
  • Its measured length and your estimate of its value.
  • Any lienholder or secured party, including their name, address, and phone number.
  • The names of anyone you authorize to pick up your property.
  • Condition documentation, which may include photographs or video.

We record the VIN or serial number so we can identify your property correctly among similar vehicles, support an insurance or police report if something happens to it, and meet the notice requirements that apply if we ever need to enforce a lien under Utah law.

At pickup we check photo ID against the names you listed; we look at the ID to confirm identity and do not keep a copy.

Our web host records standard server log information, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. We do not use this to identify individual visitors.

2. How we use your information

We use what we collect to carry out the storage agreement and run the business — to reserve and bill your spot, schedule drop-off and pickup, contact you about your property or your pickup week, document condition, confirm identity at release, keep required records, and meet facility and fire-safety obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe, whether you pay by card or by bank transfer (ACH). Those payment details go directly to Stripe and are handled under Stripe's privacy policy and security standards. We do not receive or store full card or bank account numbers.

As described in our storage terms, we keep a payment method on file until your property is retrieved and all amounts owed are paid. That payment method is held in token form by Stripe, not as card numbers in our records.

4. The booking form

Our reservation form is hosted and processed by Jotform. Information you enter into that form is transmitted to and stored by Jotform on our behalf, and is subject to Jotform's privacy policy in addition to this one.

5. Other services this website uses

  • Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website and processes request data, including IP addresses, as part of serving pages and protecting the site.
  • Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used here. Your browser requests those files from Google, which means Google receives your IP address.
  • Google Maps provides the embedded map on our contact page. Loading that map may allow Google to set cookies or collect usage data under Google's privacy policy.

6. Cookies and tracking

This website does not set cookies of its own, does not use advertising or tracking pixels, and does not run analytics software. The only cookies you may encounter come from the embedded Google Map or the Jotform reservation form, as described above.

7. How long we keep information

We keep reservation, agreement, condition, and payment records for as long as needed to provide storage, resolve any dispute over the property or amounts owed, and satisfy tax, accounting, insurance, and legal requirements. When records are no longer needed for those purposes we dispose of them.

8. Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers described above who help us operate (Stripe, Jotform, Cloudflare, Google), with our insurer or professional advisors where relevant to a claim or dispute, and where required by law or to enforce our rights under the storage agreement, including any lien remedies available under Utah law.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, and we rely on Stripe and Jotform for the security of payment and form data in their systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We may need to keep certain records to meet legal obligations or while your property is in storage and amounts remain owing. 11. Children

This website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business or the services we use change. The date at the top reflects the most recent update.
